Ex-job in Colombia - Smallholder farmers for sustainable development

Food ecologist Ebba and economist Emma from Örebro University did his ex-jobs in Colombia in the spring 2023 under the supervision of Anders Heimer, Studieförbundet Vuksenskolan Värmland (SV). On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, they will talk on a webbinar about their experiences with a focus on opportunities for participant-driven environmental labeling of cocoa products and on policies to strengthen the position of small-scale farmers in the global market. Summary Culture for peace and coexistence The film is a summary and an introduction to the project "Culture for peace and coexistence" where the goal is to strengthen seven associations as active parties in civil society in the Huila region of Southern Colombia and to establish a culture of peace and coexistence, create opportunities to improve human rights, gender equality, food security, family finances and a healthy and active life.
